100 Mile Snow Safari
Oct 11th, 2023, Meeting Minutes
The October Meeting being held at Senolihn’s was called to order by Ralph at 7:00 pm. Attendance was collected with 35 members present.
Minutes of the September Meeting were read by Karijo. A motion was made by Patrick, second by Bill to approve the minutes, motion passed.
Treasures report provided by Katie.
Did get money in, currently no one owes us for brushing. Supplemental is out there, Langlade in, Forest County sent to last treasurer waiting for this to show up.
Checking beginning balance $13,191.79, Working on DEF fluid ordered and Insurance increased with new Tucker pending charges of $1,806.10, balance ending after pending invoices $11,385.69.
Savings balance of $5,363.31 with $10,000 needed for raffle. Combined balance of $16,749 after pending invoices. Loan balance on bottom of sheet. 1 payment left on Wabeno Tucker and new Armstrong Creek payment.
Patrick asked how much are we expecting from Forest County and if they understand Katie is new treasurer. Katie stated around $41,000 and yes she knows to send info to Katie.
Motion made by Mike, second by Gerald to approve the treasures report, motion carried.
Ralph shared reminder our new address is PO Box 31, Laona, we had some random addresses out there with items still being mailed to.
Bylaws Update and Board Meeting Decisions
The Board of Directors met and approved a change to have dual membership. $35 for Family Membership with AWSC card, $20 for non AWSC membership.
Bylaws did not state we are not for profit, this will be added.
Meeting dates are going to move from the 3rd Wednesday to the 2nd Wednesday of the month starting with October 11th.
Katie updated and mailed out, Karijo still needs to read. Ralph shared we needed to share at 3 meetings, Patrick thought 2. Need to clarify.
Maintenance Day
Ralph shared we had 35 people 3 years ago, 10 people last year and 2 this year except friends. Katie discussed next year changing the date. We need to figure out a date that works for more people. Still work to be done before snow. Katie discussed sending out mass emails next year and working on a better date.
Equipment update
Project list has some items still need to be done. New Tucker being delivered Saturday, October 14th, noon to Ralph’s garage, feel free to attend.
Bridge Update
Discussed Popple River bridges being worked on, Wade stated excavator there but didn’t seem to be anyone working. Mill Pond had activity. Completion date Dec 1st.
SSL Reroute Ralph working with LMT.
Raffle Tickets
Six weeks left, please keep pushing over ½ sold.
Member Items
Wayne gave update on reroute for Soper Street bridge; this is a dead end.
Ralph brought up a couple groomer drivers needed and commitments from current groomers.

The November 8th meeting will be held at CJ’s.
Adjournment was called for at 7:111 by Ralph, motion by Patrick, Second by John, Meeting was adjourned.
After adjournment Dawn brought up a member item, mentioned to meat raffle on November 20th at 5pm, Roadhouse 139, looking for help ticket selling, donation of meat or money.
