Armstrong Creek Update 1/21/18

Post by CHOPPER 3 »

The warm temps over the weekend have brought grooming operations to a crawl . Perfect time to catch up on some of our maintenance during the heat wave . Despite higher traffic amounts , trails are holding up and with the Alleged snow fall coming Monday we will hopefully be busy . The usual pitfalls of warm temps exposed some rocks and thin spots , swamps are holding there own . Its still icy in areas so use caution , more riders out there means pay attention and stay alert . Enjoy our trail system folks , its only getting better :)

Really surprised to hear about "high traffic" on the 100 miler this weekend.

It was the busiest weekend this season so far with bordering counties to the south opening their trails

Yes I agree lots of traffic, the trails were some good and some not so good with the traffic. Nice snow out there now but 40's by Friday again and maybe rain on Saturday. If there is lots of traffic this coming weekend which there probably will be, with those weather conditions the nice trails won't last long.
