Wednesday 1/18/2017 Trail Status

Post by Curly »

We have been out this week grooming when temps permit.
I would estimate that 70% of the total 100 miler system has been groomed since Monday.
At this time SS3 and SS6 have not been done, remainder of the system has.
As for now all trails are in ride able condition with some being good to excellent.
Will they be that way for the week end? I apologize for not answering that one, its totally weather driven!
When it gets near the freezing mark snow tends to plug up the drags and traction (getting up hills) is a
big issue.
We will be out grooming when ever evening conditions allow!

In fact as I type this our groomer is stuck on 7 just south of there, can't get up a hill and can't go backwards. Our other groomer dropped it's drag and is heading over there to try and pull it up the hill, should be fun.
