New Yamaha/Arctic Cat

Post by snohawk »

Check this out. You can now get a Yamaha motor in an Arctic Cat Chassis in Yamaha colors or Arctic colors. What is this world coming too  Next week a Ski-doo motor in a Rush Chassis

I don't think so  Then I would need more of an allowance for the gas budget, so that I could put 1 more gallon in at each stop :coolcat:

Ski Doo in a Polaris may be a reality.....

Post by tsg »

Do not mean to burst your bubble, but the internet in some forums, as well as some actual sightings out west, talk of and have witnessed a Doo 800etec in an RMK. Also talk of other possible etec motors in some other polaris sleds as well. Only speculation, but we will see in a week.

***I was a die hard Polaris rider for 16 years, with a new sled every year and sometimes two, but in 2006 switched everything to Ski Doo and would never go back, although Polaris has gotten better (overall-engines always really good.......). I have 2 etec's, so i will not even comment on the gas mileage issue, as they are all that they advertise.

I was amazed at the gas milage with my new 2012 MXZ 600 etec I just bought. Was up in the UP with the boys so not being easy on it and got 20.7 miles to the gallon. I was worried I would run out of gas at 140 mile mark. Not anymore!! I thought the gas gauge was wrong because it always showed gas and gas gauges are seldom right as we all know.
