As I ride the many miles of trails in Forest, Oconto and Landglade, it seems very hard to stop at a business in the morning for a hot beverage or cold, It seems that most only open around 11am.
When riding with the family we start riding around 8 am and would be nice to stop some place other than a gas station to use the rest room and get something to drink and eat. It seems that in the Townsend and Lakewood area there are places open but up in Forest it gets hard to find someone open early.
This is on Saturday and Sunday when most families get out and ride and I think that a lot of the businesses could profit from this, because when we head back to Lakewood at night I see very few sleds riding and or parked at the places, most are parked at a hotel and not moving too far for the rest of the night.
We are open at 10 am 7 days a week Snowhawk!! BUT I'm ususally here at 8 -8:30 !! If a Burgundy Silverado is there just pound on the door!! I will be there!!!
The Northwoods Diner in Pickerel is open first thing in the morning. They are a Shell gas station with a convenience store, full service restaurant, bar, and clean restrooms.
Carol from CJ's in Newald says she opens early every day of the week around 9. It's nice to know, because there are some places that don't open early or early in the week.
Just got back from a little 50 mile run up to CJ's in Newald. I forgot to mention that they have food and gas. Had a cheeseburger and back to the home office. Snowfall is pretty heavy right now!
