Wabeno, WI - 12/28/2019

Post by Jim »

The following trails were groomed last night by the Wabeno Tucker-Terra Sno-Cat: NST4, SSL, SS3 (from Int12 to Himley Lake). The trails are rated GOOD overall with some thinning woods trails. :) I was surprised at how well the trails have held up. Some ugly weather forecasted for today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday), with some predictions of up to 2" of RAIN! IF we do get the rain, it probably won't be very good for the thin spots. Lots of water to the sides of the trails, so be careful when you pull off the trail. :? Both the Little Long Lake swamp and the water hazard east of INT 6 are still holding up great. 8-) I also placed a couple of large caution signs the other night south of INT 5, where the large boulders and the open creek run right along the trail. :!: I saw over 4 dozen sleds last night enjoying the trails. Based on the weather forecast, the Wabeno Tucker probably won't be back out until Monday. But just like the weather, that schedule is subject to change, based on the weather. Keep Right and Ride Safe! :ugeek:
