Armstrong Creek Update 12/16/19

SS2 was panned up to the swamp north and west of Armstrong Creek and out to Rock Creek road . The re routed section through the Connor land has not been packed or panned due to logging in the area . The NST 1 was panned up to JCT 5 and back to Newald . Saturday morning we packed the swamp section south of Armstrong with snomobiles . The swamp is looking pretty ugly , not freezing as fast as we'd like it to . As reported earlier it will be some time before our equiptment is able to cross these areas . There have been times in the past when we couldnt groom across until the middle of January, we will just have to see what the weather brings . We have one more swamp to pack with sleds up by Nelligan Pond today . Armstrong will be panning south later this afternoon ,and have a swamp status report tomorrow morning .
