Laona to Jungle Jim's in Athelstane?

Has anyone ever made a trip to Jungle Jim's in Athelstane from Laona? I'm not sure of the trails or the conditions that way. Is it better to go down thru Wabeno then over or up towards Armstrong Creek the Pembine and back down? Any advice or recommendations are appreciated

See the previous thread a few down in the menu from a few weeks ago regarding trails to Marinette County. From Laona go south on the NST to LMT 8, east on 8 to 100 Miler, then up to the trail heading east to Marinette county. You can also go thru AC and head east and drop down.

If there is snow east of Lakewood yo u can ride down the NST to there.

Made that run a week ago Monday.....

Lakewood-Jim's-goodman park-benson lk road-100 to Wabeno back to lakewood. Nice 80 mile ride and the trails were ok then and still should be. Don't try and go any further south than Lakewood as it thins out fast. The only weak link was the Benson Lk road connection which you could skip by going up to AC.
