All starts again

Post by R/L GROOMER » Wed Nov 23, 2016 5:31 pm

Hello all,
Down this way everyone is busy with reroutes, leveling, marking, etc. Hoping for a better year as everyone would like to see.
I would like to thank all the new members and existing that have been busy to make this trail system possible.

Most of the trail system is marked, trail leveling and brushing continues weekly.
We received our first snow over the weekend but with no frost all is melting. On the flip side though cold temps on the way which will freeze up everything and the next snow we receive will be staying for awhile.
Starting to get a little excited now.:letitsnow:

Well it is going to start to look like a white December now that the ground is froze. If the snow they are predicting hits us we should be able to pan snow in trail preparation. Now more snow coming end of next week.

Well it looks like we will be getting a good amount of snow this weekend. If it holds true panning of trails will be starting to take place to prepare for trail opening. many swamps, plowed fields need attention for safe travel.
I will not be grooming with the tracks on the first couple of outings due to ruff fields. many farms have been worked as freezing was happening due to how wet of a fall we had.
Thanks
Howie
