100 Mile Snow Safari Forum

I had this same issue back in March of 2012 after the major snowstorm. There is signage, just not obvious when coming from Wabeno as you stated. I searched the forum for the thread...

Hey Paul,

I took a similar 10K mile shot earlier this season on my 04 Sabercat 600 efi. This was then accomplished this past weekend on 3/23. I missed having all zeroes as the trail was twisty with no good spot to pull off and stop. Looks like I got to get a new sled to try it again!!!

I just watched this myself. I, like you, felt it was done in an OK manner. Prior to watching it, I sure felt like I was going to get P-O'ed. You have to remember, that if you were in your car going 40 in a 25 that you will probably get picked. Even if not posted, you have to understand the situation...

Thank you for the additional investigation. I love the area (though I have not been through there in a few years) and was so impressed by the area's ability to take that large amount of snow and have it near perfect by Thursday afternoon. I will attempt this trip again and look forward to the 3-way ...
