Re: Armstrong Creek Update 2/24/22

Couldn't agree more. I rode that section yesterday morning (I was the first one through after the new snow). I was just about spitting nails by the time I got to the A/C cutoff. What in the world ails those jackwagons? Is it THAT hard to leave a bleeping 5 or 6 foot swath for us to ride on? Good gri...

Re: Wabeno Trail Report 02/23/2022

I went through that water hazard section yesterday and it was WWAAYYY better than last week. Last week could easily have ejected people from their machines if they weren't paying attention. Yikes!

I got a grand total of about 250 miles this season in one trip immediately following 2/14. They sure missed the mark this year with "season predictions." What a letdown!

Midseason Observations

First off, thanks to all the groomer drivers and administrators who year after year see to it that we have some incredibly high quality trails to ride. Secondly, WHAT IN THE BLAZES AILS IDIOTS TO RIDE RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE OF A FRESHLY GROOMED TRAIL THAT'S 12+ FEET WIDE????????????? :x :x :x :x :x :...

All of the above information was correct and accurate. I retraced my route (in reverse) from the previous week and figured out where I went "wrong" the first time. It seems I turned north at MC145 the first week and did an "unnecessary" loop to the north before heading south agai...

Thx for the replies, fellers. I should have clarified a little more. On the Forest county map, I "think" I'm referring to INT 37 as Jim mentioned above. I guess what I'm questioning is whether FC#37 is the same as MC#145? I guess I know for sure that I continued eastbound at what would be ...

AC loop

For those who ride and or are familiar with the Armstrong Creek loop and trails that head into Marinette county: Where the 100M peels off to the north on the north side of Peshtigo River (bridge), is that intersection #145? I was in that vicinity the other day and instead of turning left (northbound...

Just tode the LMT8 east section (Padus road and back south into Wabeno) about 2 hours ago. That section of trail is the best it's been in YEARS. Thanks, Jimbo!!!! (and everybody else)
So 5 miles of the trail is a plowed gravel road? Is there a spot on the side for riding?
There was enough fresh soft snow on the sides as of yesterday, but who knows what today and tomorrow will bring.
