And this thread continues to go off into left field! Woops - I forgot about slide wear! Yes, I did burn through 3 sets of standard slides in the first 2 seasons. (In fact, if you could dig back a few years to early 2013, you can find a pretty funny thread about the struggles I had removing one set t...

To clarify what everyone else is saying, I made this somewhat sloppy attempt to align the maps of Forest Co. and Marinette Co to answer your question. Yes, this is State Trail #16, and as CRZ correctly mentioned, it follows Benson Lake Rd towards Goodman Park. The 100 miler portion just east of Blac...

I'm starting to see some of this pop up in the Accuweather forecast, as well, so there might be something to this one. It's not that I am a JD basher otherwise - I'm not at all, but I do like to see other sources back-up his forecasts. I'll not get so excited yet as to get my sled idling right now (...
Here's a insurance guy who has been known to provide very good rates, especially for the 4-stroke owners. Has been mentioned on other sites and many happy customers.
Thanks so much for the tip! I called Andrew, and he was everything you described - a fellow rider who "...

Yeah - my agent explained the CC aspect to it way back when, and though we all understand the flaws of the CC's vs HP point of view in a world of 2 and 4 strokes mixed together, I've temporarily conceded that point of view with the thinking that trying to fight it is like jousting at windmills. None...
Caveat: I am a licensed insurance agent in Wisconsin (all lines).
I appreciate the inside perspective - confirming suspicions, at the very least, and perhaps even revealing for some readers. I do also appriceat the relationship angle. When I first started with Allstat...

Thanks for the responses - they confirm what I've suspected. I never knew (or thought to ask) if I could cover my sled as a rider on my homeowners policy, so I will definitely look into that! Coincidentally, I just switched my homeowners to Liberty Mutual (via Geico, though) so hopefully I will find...

Sled Insurance...

It's that time of year again (and as if today's snowstorm wasn't enough reminder!) ... the bill arrived to re-up my insurance for the coming season, and I am looking for feedback and/or advice... I'm a married guy, mid 40's, clean driving record with great credit, yet I've been paying $600-$700 annu...
