The weather has been dismal...and was even more depressing when the local morning TV fearcaster stated that if temps would have been normal for this time of year, the rain we've received the past few days would have been anywhere from 20-30" of snow. (Of course, his take was a happy one, as in ...

Yep ... Definitely plan on being there, and expecting to drop some cash! New ski's/carbides, new fleece, maybe some mitts (for those insanely cold weekends). I'm sure I could find some more stuff, but I'll get in trouble with the missus if I deviate to far from the list....

I've been playing with the front clickers a bit, but between the sled, and varying trail conditions, there just seem to be too many variables to get a good feel for what turns up/down are doing. I'll gove the suggestion for the rear shock a try! As for carbides, I've been running 8" Bergstrom T...
Are you talking about the section that goes past the dump in Wabeno?
I think so? I don't know anything about the dump in Wabeno, but I'm talking about section heading NE out of town on Broadway St./Soper St. Tolerate the crappy, scrapy section past a few houses, and t...

I've not ridden through that section yet this year. Last year there were some wretched sections due to logging - I remember one section being at least 1-200 yards of pure deep sand! ... is there any logging through there this year? Hoping to come up end of the month, and I was thinking of making the...

As much as I complain about the lack of new snow ... I can't really complain about my season so far. I've been up every other weekend since the new year, with 1,100 miles in so far. The vast majority of those miles have been on good trails - surprisingly good, in some cases, considering the lack of ...
The complete lack of snow this year is almost unbelievable. Every time they call for snow and 1-3" at that it just vanishes 12 hours before hand. I am at a loss for hope this year being its almost the middle of Feb already.:frown:
...and meanwhile, Boston is clos...

Thanks for the pics CRZ- in this case, they are worth about 14,000 words! Overall, things look pretty damn good from down here in the cheap seats! Even bigger thanks to the clubs and groomer drivers for their time, resources and talents! Without them, we'd have jack s*** to ride in a season like thi...
