100 Mile Trail conditions - LMT too!

I have to take exception and completely disagree with a recent posting made in another thread, which is below. I too have a cottage on the TFlowage, and ride north, west, etc..... on a weekly / weekend basis. The trail heading N/NW behind Valley is always groomed, and that section is groomed by both...

1/12/15 ride

Rode the entire 100 Miler south of Cavour, as well as numerous LMT trails. Cold, but ALL trails had been freshly groomed and we were the first on almost every trail. 100 miler and both LMT groomers were out and the trails were almost perfect. Saw about 12 other sleds all day. Trails are as good as t...

Rail Trails.......

I agree with Johnnie on this: the NST, WRST, and others have proved valuable and serve a great purpose for snowmobiling. I have been riding the area for 25+ years, and the grades allow people to get to different riding areas more quickly (accessability vs. speed) and directly, whether you like them ...

100 Miler Connection to Marinette County

There is an intersection where the Marinette County trails connect with the 100 Miler northeast of Wabeno, correct? Basically due east of where LMT 8 branches off the NST going east? Since the NST opened and Christmas Tree closed, I very seldom ever ride the east portion anymore. I know you can conn...

3/25 Ride

Had the opportunity to make a mid week ride, and wow, what a great decision. From the Valley Inn north both the 100 Miler and LMT trails were great. Even the NST was in great condition all the way up, with the exception of some bare spots north of Wabeno which were manageable. Only issue was making ...

Ski Doo in a Polaris may be a reality.....

Do not mean to burst your bubble, but the internet in some forums, as well as some actual sightings out west, talk of and have witnessed a Doo 800etec in an RMK. Also talk of other possible etec motors in some other polaris sleds as well. Only speculation, but we will see in a week. ***I was a die h...

Wabeno Groomer

[QUOTE=Farmer1;18642]Maybe someone needs to learn to read.....the trails I was talking about were over a week ago, and I am sure I get out of bed before you.:lol:. I have been snowmobiling in the area for about 18 years, I pretty sure I know where the Wabeno trails go, and most of the time they...
