Opening Day

Thanks to Curly, Jim, and all who are working to get the trails in "opening" day shape. Will be there first thing Friday for a day ride. Hope this is the first day of enjoyable, safe, snowfilled and profitable (always thinking of you Johnnie) season.

Based on the above and other reports from Roger, Jim and Chopper, looks like a decent swath of snow. Did it extend at all south and north, and if so, to what extent if known? Looks like LMT and 100's trails will be back in decent shape, just curious if anyone else benefited so a longer ride can be a...

Well said men, and Jakerides you and the others within LMT have done a great job of bringing the trails you are responsible for back to excellent condition over the past few years, as well as getting stability within the whole club. Thanks for that. Johnnie, you guys have set the bar so high the pas...

Perhaps it is too early but what guarantees these days? Rode 80 + miles in Oconto today, Red Arrow and Paul Bunyon and they were pretty good considering. Helps with sleds to pound down and attempt to set base, although I did notice some idiots accelerating out of corners and from stops. Ride when th...

2016 MXZX 600 ETEC. 129 inch track. Will have sleds with 120, 129, and 137 inch tracks, so should be able to get some idea as to what the ideal length for trail riding is.

Another "winner" response by the know-it-all on the website, ...WAY, or better yet, only "his WAY is the right way". Agree with Chainlake, done with the nonsense replies just like the snowmobile season.

Really, guys on a logging job need to worry about the conditions they leave snowmobilers? Are we not traveling on their land, or the land they have contracted with to perform their job, of which they have all provided us as snowmobilers access to? Same goes for municipal roads. More and more municip...

Forest Service Map

Read some additional information regarding the forest Service map, and the USFS thinks it advantageous to produce a map showing the "800 miles" of snowmobile trails throughout the forests. Apparently there is a map they publish showing all vehicle routes / forest service roads, so this wil...

See the previous thread a few down in the menu from a few weeks ago regarding trails to Marinette County. From Laona go south on the NST to LMT 8, east on 8 to 100 Miler, then up to the trail heading east to Marinette county. You can also go thru AC and head east and drop down.
