Ice Thickness

Anyone know what some of the area lakes have for ice thickness? This weekend is free fishing weekend and was hoping to try a little ice fishing.
We have to remember that none of these incidents are accidents. They are all crashes because the operator of the sled was driving too fast for their own abilities or the setup on the sled. As far as hoping someone learns their lesson by failing might not be the best answe...
I don't think that the problem is only the younger riders. Look at the Wisconsin DNR Crash Incident report, average age is over 40. I lead most of the time, and it is not the leader but the riders behind the leader riding with no clue on whats coming head on, they are usually on...

Also, I have heard that the 1200 4-tec is not all it is cracked up to be and Ski-Doo had a few problems with it (as well as their 600 ACE engine...

The AWSC Youth Ride out of Lakewood is Saturday this weekend as well. I think they are planning for around 35-40 youth riders and going from Lakewood to Lilly and back.
there are way more than 6 teams, we saw them leaving the cop shop in Boulder Junction last Friday morning to "enforce" the St. Germain area. I would say at least 10.
They only have 6 teams in the actual force. The state DNR had all the new hires up there doin...
Just a heads up, the word is the DNR will have the saturation enforcement team in the area for the week end of the Pickerel Jump In, and Trump Lake Fisherie. 8 or 10 teams of 2 officers. Word is they will be looking for stop sign violations. Then they can get up close for a smel...
