Excellent point Hooter; daylight grooming is just like a spinning gear,you don't get any appreaciable upgrade to the trail. In fact more damage occures and faster than if the trail wasn't even groomed.

Redarrow started grooming just after the rain on 12-14 . Most of the trails have been groomed 3 times though only the last time was any filling noticable on the rough sections. the base is good the fluffy snow not to good for packing.

Be careful out there, trails on secondary or woods roads are still rough with rocks and tireruts not yet covered. :eek:

The fence was erected by the Wi.D.O.T. because of the pending designation as the nicolet state trail. The reason was to keep the highway crossings at approved locations. This was more of a concern for 4-wheelers damaging the ditches and right of ways.This is in anticipation of a connection being ope...

Jim; personnaly I much rather prefer to meet sledders who keep both hands firmly planted on their grips.
